Here you will find updates on storms that enter the gulf and pose real and potential threats to the Gulf Coast and to Louisiana, in particular. Forecasts, emergency declarations and resource links will be provided as necessary.
As any disturbance enters the Gulf of Mexico, please check back periodically for new information.

It covers the states of Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia and only applies to interstate shipments (intrastate shipments are not covered).
