Governor’s Call for the Second Special Session

News

Governor John Bel Edwards has officially made the call for a second Special Session in 2016 to address the estimated $600 million deficit still remaning in the 2016-2017 fiscal year that will begin on July 1. The special session will begin on June 6, 30 minutes after the conclusion of the regular session, and conclude no later than June 23.
