Manager, Public Affairs & Communications

Rob Landry is the Manager of Communications and Public Affairs for Louisiana Chemical Association and Louisiana Chemical Industry Alliance. He started with LCA in 2013 and his role the organization is to manage the website and social media outlets, write press releases and assist media in any questions they may have regarding the industry as well as to assist the Governmental Affairs team in lobbying efforts at the Louisiana State Capitol.

Rob has previously worked for the Louisiana House of Representatives. During the legislative session, he worked on the front desk in the House, assisting the Clerk of the House, legislators and staff members in any clerical needs they may have during the day. During the interim months, he worked as a runner, or messenger, assisting staff in any pertinent tasks.

Rob is a 2011 graduate of Louisiana State University where he finished with a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism from the Manship School of Mass Communication. While at LSU, Rob was a sports writer and columnist for the student newspaper, The Daily Reveille.

Rob was born in Charleston, S.C., but grew up in Mandeville, La., and graduated high school from St. Paul’s School in 2007.
